Horse chestnut

In the autumn produces conkers.  

Has large brown sticky buds.  It is thought the name horse chestnut comes from the fact it used to be used in horse medicine.

Not native to Britain (was introduced from Turkey.  

Deciduous tree (loses its leaves in winter)
